Mercenary's Reward This is the second story in Stephanie Snow s War Tribe series, but it stands completely alone with no reference, that I could see, to In The Aftermath Of The War That Struck Her Planet, Mieli Dreams Of A Better Life When The Enemy Soldier Jai Crash Lands In The Remote Forest Where She Hides, She Seizes The Opportunity To Save His Life And Gain His Trust She Ll Do Anything For His Help, And One Night Of Raw Passion Is All It Takes To Convince Him She S Worth The Effort Jai Will Stop At Nothing To Secure Her Freedom, And Even Barters His Own Body For Her Safe Passage But Demons From His Past Must Be Faced, And He Leaves Mieli Behind In His Quest For Vengeance Mieli Never Expected To Fall For The Mercenary, Or To Regret Seeing Him Leave Now, With The Life She Wanted So Much A Reality, Mieli Realizes The Only Life That Matters Is One That Includes Jai Without Any Way Of Finding Him, And No Idea Of His Feelings, She Can Only Wait She Knows That When He Does Return, She S Ready To Show Him Why He Ll Never Be Able To Leave Her Behind Again Publisher S Note This Book Contains Explicit Sexual Situations, Graphic Language, And Material That Some Readers May Find Objectionable Male Male Sexual Interaction, Violence A sweet story of a massive alien finding somethingin life that what he understood it to be There is a touch of MM in the story The ending felt, to me as if you were running and all of a sudden you ran right into a stone wall at the shins and you just never saw the abrupt end of the trail..The END It was pretty good I didn t like the abrupt ending tho I d saya 3 1 2 stars I def enjoyed the first one better. What a sweet intergalactic romance Reminded me of E.T by Katy Perry But I miss the harshness from Demon s Captive I hope Tarin gets his own book cause I felt sorry for the big guy. Soliked the first one in this series , I liked this but didn t like it ya follow I thought it had a great start off, but her mindset was a little strange to me that she would give in sexually so willingly to him I mean, she didn t even put up a little bit of a fight, just opened her legs and had a light up landing strip to guide him where she wanted him to go He didn t even pressure her into it, she already had the mentality of having sex with him before he was fully healed I felt Soliked the first one in this series , I liked this but didn t like it ya follow I thought it had a great once he finally told him how he had felt all these years, but when they had a sex scene together that made me a little mad Not because there was a gay sex scene, but because he seemed to be so possessive of her and the thought of her with any other guy would piss him off, but it s ok if he does a sexual act with someone else Regardless of the history he has with his friend and how much he felt bad for him, I felt it was unfair to her Then he didn t feel bad about it, he was just worried about how she would handle it, but then he never told her He started to get hard thinking about it, but then he had sex with her when he noticed she was looking at his hard on and she thought it was for her The ending was too quick and seemed too perfectly wrapped up in a little package The same thing happened in the previous book however, I felt like that last book the story wasrounded out that this one In this book, it was a completely different set up and it justdidn t fit It felt like the author just threw it in there She seemed ok with everything, and then he disappears for a while without making any contact with her He could have at least written her or called or something obviously he knew she learned his language but he did nothing He watched her from afar with her friends and just decided he had no place in her life HELLO You have been gone Of course she s going to make friends and smile she has a home now I don t know about this one Like I said, I liked it, but then the ending was just too perfect and wasn t as well written as the first half.2.5 stars overall and I felt I d like to have seen a bitending as it was rather sudden, but, I liked Mieli and Jai and had a genuine aww moment for Jai s friend I felt Mieli was way to hard on herself for her choices and did well to be a survivor of difficult times All in all a good read I really hope Stephanie Snow writesof this series Lo disfrut pero realmente, no fue tan bueno como el primer libro S Creo que el problema es que los protagonistas no hablaban el mismo idioma y eso hac a que las cosas fueran tan lentas, imped a que se llegara a un entendimiento con los personajes Era m s del 70% del libro y ellos no pod an comunicarse y yo no ve a la hora de que eso sucediera Cuando por fin sucede, todo es tan r pido que y si bien la autora nos ha dejado ver que han sido mucho tiempo el que pasaron muy sensuales, muy dulces pero algunas cosas simplemente me sacaban de la historia Demon s Captive fue mucho mejor y estoy esperando otro libro en esta serie que sea tan bueno como el primero 2 1 as DC that said I still enjoyed it.
